Domestica Terms of Service

Welcome to Domestica. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (domestica.pk) and our domestic staff placement services. By engaging with our agency to hire staff or apply for a job, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Agency Role & Nature of Service

Domestica acts as an introductory placement and management agency. We facilitate the introduction, vetting, and matching of domestic professionals (maids, nannies, cooks, drivers, etc.) with prospective employers. If the client routes the employee's salary through Domestica, our management oversight remains in effect. Otherwise, if the candidate is paid directly, the employment relationship exists strictly between the client and the worker.

2. Background Checks & Police Verification

We are committed to safety. Domestica conducts rigorous background checks, including collecting NADRA CNIC copies and conducting official police verification for all staff. While we contact previous employer references, clients acknowledge that Domestica assumes no liability for the future conduct of any candidate.

3. Client Responsibilities

• Safe Environment: The client agrees to provide a safe and respectful working environment.
• Timely Payment: Clients are responsible for paying agreed salaries on time. It is highly recommended that salary payments are processed via Domestica.
• Accurate Information: The client must provide accurate details regarding job duties and working hours.

4. Replacement Policy & Guarantee

We offer specialized replacement warranties to ensure satisfaction. As of February 2026, we provide a 3-month replacement warranty with a half-salary charge and a 6-month warranty with a full-salary charge. Domestica will provide a replacement candidate at no additional agency fee within these periods, subject to contract terms.

5. Limitation of Liability

Domestica, its owners, or employees shall not be held liable for any damages, including property damage or personal injury, resulting from the employment of staff introduced by our agency. The client assumes all risks associated with hiring domestic personnel.
